The Facilities

At Newborough Dogs we have numerous facilities including 16 kennels, covered and uncovered runs, a variety of exercise paddocks, a separate gallop together with our hydrotherapy pool. We specialise in providing quality treatment coupled with individual dietary plans to maximise the potential of all the racing greyhounds within our care.

We have a purpose build schooling circle (shown above) on site for the young Greyhounds to teach them how to chase and take bends ready for when they start their racing lives

We also take the youngsters to a local training gallops and once they are confident there we take them to Dunham Greyhound Centre or further experience over sprints and longer distances.

We are very proud to have our own 4 metre circular hydrotherapy pool which we strongly believe has helped our young racers to the build fitness and stamina which has proved it's worth with our successful results at both Mildenhall and Henlow Greyhound stadium's. The pool is a relaxing way to give the injured and retired Greyhounds a gentle work out too without over stressing injuries or old joints with non weight bearing exercise.
The pool is not exclusive to our own dogs, sessions can be booked with our hydrotherapist Wendy.
